Unleashing courageous leadership and collective power
to realize a just and loving world.
One pressing issue that is common to people across the board—regardless of differences in socioeconomic status, race, nationality, geographic location, ability, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and/or religion—is health care. Currently living in a post-ACA era, where there are seemingly a variety of threats to our health care system as it is today, it is vitally important to learn more about the ins and outs of our health care system and how to simultaneously protect it from attacks while also advocating for improvements.
This month, MUUSJA is hosting our Convening Call around this very issue. We will be joined by experts in the world of health care legislation, and we would love for you to join us.
We will be meeting online tonight (Monday, April 24th) from 7:00-8:30pm. Please register here for this free event so that we know who to expect. We will be using an online video-conferencing software called Zoom (details below).
We invite UUs around the state to join virtually gather with us to learn about a social justice issue or leadership topic together. Convening calls are free and open to anyone, and are held using Zoom video/teleconferencing software each month.
